Get ready for another episode of UNCAGED, the official podcast of The New York Asian Film Festival. This week features the Q&A session from the NYAFF screening of the riveting Hong Kong film, "Vital Sign," which had its North American premiere at the 2023 edition of the festival.
Director Cheuk Wan-chi and producer Jacqueline Liu discuss the inspiration for the film with a lively audience at the Walter Reade Theater.
"Vital Sign" follows the story of two Hong Kong paramedics – one a mentor and the other a mentee – who show us the present challenges of Hong Kong and its local residents.
